Bioderma's Sebium gel moussant - Cleanser

4:30 p.m.

{Spanish version at the end}

Hi everyone! Today’s review is about Bioderma’s sebium gel moussant, this is a cleanser I’ve been using for a while so I decided to give you my opinion.

This is what the brand claims:

Indicated for: teens, adults, and you can use it for face and body.
Product benefits:
·         Gently cleanses and purifies
·         Limits sebum secretion
·         Keeps pores from becoming clogged
·         Guarantees good skin and eye tolerance
·         Soap-free cleansing base

Product + :
·         Sébium Gel moussant can be used as a shaving foam

·         Scented formula
·         Hypoallergenic
·         Non-comedogenic
·         Non-drying
·         Paraben-free
·         Soap-free
·         No colouring agents

What I think: I have combo skin and use this two times a day, every day, I’ve been using it for about two years (some months I try different ones but always come back to this)  and this works wonders, it really controls the oil production without drying out, so, it doesn’t live flaky or with patches your skin and lives a fresh feeling. If you are sensitive to fragrance then I wouldn’t recommend it, cause as the brand says it does have a scent but it’s a fresh one and you only smell it at the time of cleaning your face. It has a great eye tolerance as the brand says, I always use this on my eyelids because they are oily.
So, if you have acne, combo/oily and sensitive skin, you should try this, and if you already have, please tell me how did it work for you.

  • No comedogénica
  • No resecante

Tarte's Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush

10:29 a.m.

A long-wearing, supremely soft blush infused with Amazonian clay harvested from the banks of the Amazon River and naturally baked by the sun.

Amazonian clay minimizes oil in and around pores to balance skin and keep product in place while also hydrating the skin naturally to restore moisture, reducing the appearance of dry, flaky skin.
Product performance: This 12-hour blush universally benefits all skin types for a fade-free, flawless finish in shades ranging from soft to vivid and matte to shimmer to suit a wide variety of skin tones.

Hello everyone! Todays review is about Tarte's Amazonian Clay blush , i've heard a lot of it, so i decided to give it a try.

Let's see what the brand claims:
A long-wearing, supremely soft blush infused with Amazonian clay harvested from the banks of the Amazon River and naturally baked by the sun.

Amazonian clay minimizes oil in and around pores to balance skin and keep product in place while also hydrating the skin naturally to restore moisture, reducing the appearance of dry, flaky skin.
Product performance: This 12-hour blush universally benefits all skin types for a fade-free, flawless finish in shades ranging from soft to vivid and matte to shimmer to suit a wide variety of skin tones.

I believe this 'Amazonian clay' it's the same as the usual clay we see in a lot of stuff nowadays , but of course one their properties is to minimize oil.
The shade I bought was Blushing Bride, a plumy-rose, if you swatch it with your fingers it looks super strong, but when you add it to your cheeks it looks super natural, like you're really blushing, i really love that natural finish. In particular, this shade isn't matte, it has a little bit of shimmer, but nothing exaggerated and doesn't look powdery or cakey.
About the longevity, I wore it 12 hours and it lasted really well, I must mention it was a cloudy, fresh day and my cheek area isn't oily at all.
The hidratation that says the brand I would say is really nice, my cheek area it's dry from time to time and with this blush it looks great, nothing patchy,
Tarte has a wide range of colors, so I guess you'll find a great shade for you! I have medium skin and blushing bride looks super natural.
Would I buy it again? Sure, I'd love to try some different shades.
Have you tried this? What do you think?

Bioderma's Micellar Water: Sensibio vs Sebium

10:29 a.m.

  • No comedogénica

Hello everyone, I've been absent some time thanks to college haha, but today I have a review for you about Bioderma's micellar waters Sensibio and Sebium.
Let's see what the brand claims:

Sensibio:
Sensibio H2O is the 1st and only dermatological micellar water perfectly compatible with the skin: its fatty acid esters, the constituent elements of micelles, are similar to the phospholipids of the skin cell membranes
and naturally help rebuild the skin's hydrolipidic film.
  • Fragrance-free formula
  • Alcohol-free
  • Paraben-free
  • Hypoallergenic
  • *removes water-resistant make-up

Sebium:
  • Sébium H2O is the 1st specific make-up removing micellar water for combination or oily skin that mimics the natural composition of the skin for perfect make-up removal and total respect for even the most sensitive skin.
  • Thanks to the Fluidactiv patented sebo-correcting complex, it biologically regulates sebum quality to keep the pores from becoming clogged and clear up the skin.
  • Enriched with purifying agents, zinc gluconate and copper sulphate, Sébium H2O purifies the skin and limits sebaceous secretion.
  • Scented formula
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Paraben-free
  • Non-comedogenic
  • No colouring agents
  • Non-rinse
My opinion: Both of this micellar waters are great, I've never had a problem with them and they have a great cleaning power. The first one I bought was Sebium because I have combo skin so I thought this one would be great, and it was, it cleanses amazing and you don't have to use a lot of product, removes really well makeup, Ithink if you have super sensitive skin this won't be the best for you 'cause it has a fragrance. Then I bought Sensibio, this is great as well and it doesn't have a fragrance, I think I needed to use more product with this, and it says it removes waterproof makeup but it didn't, it helps to remove it and then I use my regular makeup remover, it leaves you with a great fresh feeling.
I will repurchase sensible, cause as I said, my skin is combination, and the most problematic part of my face is the T zone, so I don't think I need that much Sebium but if you have super oily skin then this might be the best for you because of its ingredients.
Have you used this product? What do you think? Let me know.

Origins' Quick, Hide! | Concealer

2:09 p.m.

Shadows, wrinkles and redness will never know what hid them. Soft-focus filters diminish fine lines and flaws. And the creamy coverage floats over skin easily with no creasing of caking. Long-wearing. Heat and sweat resistant. Oil-free. Ophthalmologist tested.

Hi! Today's review is about Origins' quick, hide! Concealer, I thinks that's a pretty accurate name for it haha. Let's see what the brand claims:
Shadows, wrinkles and redness will never know what hid them. Soft-focus filters diminish fine lines and flaws. And the creamy coverage floats over skin easily with no creasing of caking. Long-wearing. Heat and sweat resistant. Oil-free. Ophthalmologist tested.
My opinion: as you can read the brand promises a lot of things, let's see what it really does . It does cover my under eye black circles but I think it doesn't cover very well my acne scars, but they are really pigmented so I think maybe my scars are the problem haha. It's oil free so it's perfect for oily to combo skin . This doesn't have fragrance but it does have some smell but only if you smell the applicator lol. As you can see en the picture the applicator really small so you can acces small areas . About the duration on your skin, the brand says is long wearing, for me it stayed about six hours , after that it started to cream a little bit under my eyes.
I recommend this if you are lol for a more affordable option of the Urban Decay concealer but if you already have the UD one , stay with that haha or if you are looking for new options I think this is a pretty good one.
Have you tried this? What did You think?

Clinique | Even Better

5:16 p.m.

Hi! Today's review is about Clinique's even better foundation with SPF 15.
This is what the brand claims:

Wear oil-free, dermatologist-developed Even Better Makeup SPF 15 and something amazing happens: Without any makeup, see improved clarity, a more even skin tone, visibly diminished age spots. For all  ethnicities. In just 4 to 6 weeks. Broad spectrum SPF helps protect against future darkening

As you can read, Clinique promises that our skin would get even better when you use this , but is that true?
This foundation I have used it for about 4 years, it has light-medium coverage and a matte finish.
To be honest I haven't see a lot of changes in my skin but when you wear this it looks really pretty, it does evens the tone of your skin and the size of the pores look minimized .
I thinks this is a great foundation for a "no makeup" look, it's really light weight, oil free and I'm all of these years I've been using it , it has never break my face so, it's pretty for all of us combo-oily skin. It also has no fragrance and is really easy to apply it, it blends great.
I love that it has solar protection factor 15, great for this summer days.
The duration on the skin in this super hot days is about 4 hours, but in a normal or in winter it can last longer. When it fades it doesn't look cake-y or that you had a mass of makeup in your face.
The shade I use is neutral 05.
I totally recommend this and I will repurchase .

Clinique Cheek Pop Blush

8:24 p.m.

Hola!

Hi! Today's review is about Clinique's cheek pop blush in the shade Gimger pop.
As you can see in the pictures this shades is coral with orange-red undertones, this isn't matte, it is a lit bit shimmery , I think it's great for the summer time.
The package is transparent and the blush itself it's shape as a flower so I think it's pretty cute , sadly it doesn't have a mirror,
This blush blends really good , the texture isn't that powdery so you won't get all the blush flying all over , but I think you have to rub a lot the brush to get enough pigment, I don't know if it's just me or the shade .
About the duration on my face it only lasted approximately 3 or 4 hours, I have combination-oily skin so i guess if you are on the dry/normal range it could last more.
The price of this is 22 dollars, if you like this kind of shimmering, a little bit shiny blush I recommend it but if you don't I guess you could try Laura Mercier's blushes they're more on the matte side but a few dollars more expensive than this.
So, in the end I give this a 4.5/5 , what do you thinks
, have you used it, did you like it? Let me know!

Weightless Hydration Coconut Water Weightless Hydration Oil

8:41 p.m.

Drench your dehydrated strands in this ultra-light blend of weightless hydrating coconut water, supercharged with nutrient rich electrolytes and combined with coconut oils to transform dry, parched hair into silky shiny perfection.

  • Unique blend of sulfate free surfactants
  • Drench your dehydrated strands
  • Transform hair into shiny perfection
  • With nutrient rich electrolytes
  • Residue free formula
  • Not tested on animals

Hi! sorry for the absence but I was very busy at school with all the exams and stuff, but now I'm on vacations so I will post more often , yay!
Today's review is about this product from OGX (Organix some time ago) and it is a hair spray.
As it's name says this is a spray , it looks like water but when you spray it into your hands you can feel the oily consistence.
This is what the brand claims:

Drench your dehydrated strands in this ultra-light blend of weightless hydrating coconut water, supercharged with nutrient rich electrolytes and combined with coconut oils to transform dry, parched hair into silky shiny perfection.
  • Unique blend of sulfate free surfactants
  • Drench your dehydrated strands
  • Transform hair into shiny perfection
  • With nutrient rich electrolytes
  • Residue free formula
  • Not tested on animals

How do you apply it? After shampooing, towel dry hair. Spray eenly onto damp hair then blow dry to infuse it onto the hair shafts. Finish by misting all over for optimal shine and hydratation.  -This is what the bottle says

I basically do that, that's my rutine, and well, my hair is really really dry and I don't feel like wow! now my hair is super hydrate , no, but I can see it added volume to it and it's really easy to give my hair form with this, i also noticed when I use the straightener it does adds shine and looks more vivid .

Final verdict? Well, I like it and I will continue using it, I've heard/read some comments that if you use the full line, shampoo and conditioner it works better, i dont have them 'cause  I use anti-dandruff stuff :( . Nevertheless,I recommend this to you if you're looking for new stuff.

Have you tried it? Did it work for you? Let me know!
