Clarins - Skin Illusion Loose Powder Foundation

{Spanish version at the end of the English one}

Hi! Today’s review is about Clarins skin illusion loose powder foundation, I've been using this for a long time, so I thought It would be good idea to write about it.
Since I’ve been here I the blogging world I haven’t seen a lot of Clarins posts, I guess maybe people thinks it’s an old people brand or idk, but I have tried some products of it and they are pretty good.
So,lets see what clarins says about this product.
Silky, loose powder foundation—with light-reflecting pigments, minerals and plant extracts.
Creates a radiant matte finish and a natural, bare skin effect. Built-in blending brush lets you decide the coverage—from light to medium.
Dermatologist-tested. Oil-free.

Ingredients:
A unique blend of mineral and plant-based trace elements includes:
Pink Opal Powder to infuse skin with radiance;
Pink Algae extract to stimulate and tone;
a special “Light Optimizing +” complex to capture, amplify and diffuse light.
Visibly reduces the appearance of fine lines and imperfections. Clarins’ exclusive Plant Micropatch maintains hydration, comfort and a soft skin texture.
Fights free radicals and pollution.

What I think: I have oily/combo skin and this, at it says leaves a matte finish, which I love because it doesn’t look cakey at all, it has great coverage, when I use this I always get complements about my skin being clear, as the name of the product says, it creates a skin illusion because you can really see that perfect skin look, and it doesn’t look like you are wearing makeup.

I usually wear this after I put my foundation, but just on my nose and forehead and still looks natural. This doesn’t flakes or accentuates dry patches.
This is dermatologist-tested and oil free, perfect for every skin type I think, this didn’t break me out, this has a smell but for me it’s really pleasant and it doesn’t stay on the face.
About longevity; it lasts a pretty decent amount of time, like 6 hours without my nose being all shiny.
The packaging is super beautiful, it looks really nice on your desk or wherever you put them haha, also, it has that little brush, I really like it, its great quality, but as you can see, it’s pretty bulky and I think it’s quite difficult to travel with and I guess this is a drawback for some people.
It’s pricey, or at least for me it is haha, but whenever I can, I would repurchase.

Have you tried this or have you used Clarins products? What do you think?

¡Hola!

Colourpop | Review

5:59 p.m.

Hi guys! Hope you had a great start of the year, and today I’m reviewing some Colourpop products, hope you like it!

First, the lip products, I own Clueless, Beeper and Bumble from the Ultra matte lips, which I think they’re the most famous cause everybody on Youtube and here talked about them haha. In my opinion the colors are pretty great, you only need one layer to cover all your lips and the longevity its pretty great too, they last a long time and don’t transfer but this formula is super drying in my lips :( , they look like carton, especially with Clueless and Beeper I don’t know why I didn’t have that problem with Bumble, of course it was drying but not that much.

From the Ultra satin lip collection I have Echo park, which is a lovely peachy brown-nude , I love it, and the formula doesn’t suck the life out of lips buuut this a satin,so, it dries kind of matte, doesn’t shine at all but this transfers and doesn’t last long , I still prefer this formula over the ultra matte.

The Lippie Stix, I only own Lumiere, I really like this shade, its matte and the formula is amazing, doesn’t dry your lips, of course it doesn’t last that long, it’s like a regular lipstick. This has a chemical-like smell.

I only bought one eye shadow, Brady, which is a dusty rose, the page says its matte but it has a little bit of shiny particles. The formula it’s great, really buttery and I will purchase some other colors. I used this with an eye primer and it lasted all night.

Other eye product I bought was a crème gel liner in the shade Best O, the page says it’s a deepened burgundy but Its totally brown, at least to my eyes, it brown haha, I didn’t like this :( , it is really drying and hard to apply , also it broke at the instant I used it :(, but it lasts long, maybe I would purchase some other color and see if I have the same experience or not.

Bioderma's Sebium gel moussant - Cleanser

4:30 p.m.

{Spanish version at the end}

Hi everyone! Today’s review is about Bioderma’s sebium gel moussant, this is a cleanser I’ve been using for a while so I decided to give you my opinion.

This is what the brand claims:

Indicated for: teens, adults, and you can use it for face and body.
Product benefits:
·         Gently cleanses and purifies
·         Limits sebum secretion
·         Keeps pores from becoming clogged
·         Guarantees good skin and eye tolerance
·         Soap-free cleansing base

Product + :
·         Sébium Gel moussant can be used as a shaving foam

·         Scented formula
·         Hypoallergenic
·         Non-comedogenic
·         Non-drying
·         Paraben-free
·         Soap-free
·         No colouring agents

What I think: I have combo skin and use this two times a day, every day, I’ve been using it for about two years (some months I try different ones but always come back to this)  and this works wonders, it really controls the oil production without drying out, so, it doesn’t live flaky or with patches your skin and lives a fresh feeling. If you are sensitive to fragrance then I wouldn’t recommend it, cause as the brand says it does have a scent but it’s a fresh one and you only smell it at the time of cleaning your face. It has a great eye tolerance as the brand says, I always use this on my eyelids because they are oily.
So, if you have acne, combo/oily and sensitive skin, you should try this, and if you already have, please tell me how did it work for you.

  • No comedogénica
  • No resecante
